IST Offsite Program Guide
The IST Experience Team is offering the “IST Offsite Program”, as part of the International Staff Team experience in the 24th World Scout Jamboree. This program will start on 24 July. Please read the following instructions and then place your order online.
Tickets will be available for purchase at 12 am, on 23 July at https://www.eventbrite.com/o/24wsj-ist-program-22921933165. If you can’t access the Internet, the IST Experience Office located in Echo HQ can help you to place your order.
General Instructions:
First of all, check your off-duty schedule and confirm with your manager that you can leave the Summit Bechtel Reserve. Due to traffic and program conditions, the return time to the Summit may be changed. Please leave enough time to get back to your shift.
If your name is listed on the “Work-Skip IST” list, your participation may be rejected at departure. The job skip list is maintained by the IST Allocation team. Each group manager can input an IST name to the list as a “no-report IST”.
You will be charged 30 USD and an additional transaction fee of 3.46 USD when buying your tour ticket online. This is just the cost for the bus. You may need to pay an additional fee depending on your optional tours.
You may cancel your reservation 1 day prior to departure. Refunds may be requested on the Eventbrite page. The Eventbrite transaction fee is non-refundable.
Read carefully this tour guide and never be late to the bus departure point. If you are late, and miss the return bus, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for transportation back to the Summit.
You have to wear your Jamboree ID and IST neckerchief at all times. Your name will be checked upon boarding the bus.
