Greetings Scouts of the 24th World Scout Jamboree –

Twelve days ago, we arrived at the Summit Bechtel Reserve as members of units, as members of contingents, representing our nations. Today, we depart this jamboree better connected as a worldwide family of Scouts, prepared to go home and encourage our fellow Scouts, friends, families, and communities to truly unlock the new world that awaits us.

Just as the ribbons of our jamboree logo reached out to embrace the world, we reached out and embraced not only every opportunity this jamboree offered, but each other. We leave with new friends, new connections, and a new understanding of how we each play a role in creating a better world.

As we depart, may these new friendships and memories uplift us and endow us with the strength, perseverance, and determination to make us equal to the challenge we’ve accepted.

May you each travel safely and swiftly back to the family and friends that await your return, and may the great master of all Scouts be with you until we meet again.
