Down Day
Each day, an entire Subcamp goes up to Mount Jack. Today, it was Subcamp C’s turn to walk up. I was really looking forward to going up and doing the activities there, but sadly I woke up with a stomach ache, so I decided that it wouldn’t be a good idea to go.
Instead, I stayed at the campsite and slept some more, rolled together like a snail. At least until I woke up in a sauna called my tent. My phone had over-heated just by being inside the tent, without even being used.
I spent the rest of the day refilling my tanks and enjoyed chilling out alone, since we’re not allowed to walk around alone. Plus, it would have been too hot for me to really want to go out and do lots of stuff anyway. At least it was cool enough to stay in the shadows and read a book, which gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in the Swedish translation of ‘Game of Thrones’.
There isn’t much more that happened today, but you most likely hear my story of how my dinner with Mario’s unit from Honduras went either tonight or tomorrow, depending on when I get around to sit down and write about it. Otherwise, I wish you all a good evening and see you tomorrow!!
