Today I had dinner with one of our Belgian Global Ambassadors, Ruben! Me and my friend Lotta headed down to his camp at around 6pm and were greeted by tons of new people!

The atmosphere at the Belgium camp was very chill and fun! It really didn’t take too long to settle in. We had some food that actually originated in Chile! The dish had corn, meat and scrambled eggs in it and it was really good!

We talked with few of the scouts there and discussed the differences between Scouting in Finland and Belgium. We found out that Scouting is age-based in both countries but they can actually join Scouts a year earlier than in Finland.

I had a really good time tonight and it was definitely a great experience! All cultures are different and it’s really cool to see how a foreign culture differs from yours.
