The scout jamboree has a lot to offer, and what makes it so vibrant and interactive are the participants! I learnt about a lot of new cultures from the various scarves of each of them, like the exemplary print on the Mexican scarf and the colourful tie and dye on the Brazilian one. All the badges, scarves and memories I have collected will remain with me forever, and will continue to remind me how important and essential scouting is. I went to rock climbing next and I must say it’s not as easy as it looks. With a lot of muscle power and motivation, I managed to climb 3 rock layouts. All in all, day two was an adventure and I definitely look forward to creating memories and swapping what my culture has to offer. Widening your horizons and interacting with other scouts is what is the jamboree is about, and my day two summarises this perfectly.
