The theme of the 24th World Scout Jamboree is “Unlock a New World”. With this in mind, we will be incorporating World Heritage Sites in the names of Base Camps and Subcamps.  A World Heritage site is a landmark or area which is selected by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as having cultural, historical, scientific or other form of significance, and is legally protected by international treaties. The sites are judged important to the collective interests of humanity.

The Base Camps are named with letters beginning A through F to coincide with the Summit naming of Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo and Foxtrot. Using this format, a list of World Heritage Site names beginning with the letters A through F have been selected.  More information on World Heritage Sites can be found at https://whc.unesco.org/.
