Favorite scouting experience: The 1st International Desmos Camp, 2017. It was my first experience at an international camp, and as well as having fun and making memories pioneering, exploring waterfalls and old towns and playing games at camp, I made friendships with people both from Cyprus and other countries who I am still close with 9such as Mike, one of the Lebanese GAs). The camp was also what made me realise how much I loved international camps and learning about other cultures, which ultimately led me here!
What are you most excited about for the 2019 World Scout Jamboree? The travelling, activities and new friendships!
Why do you want to serve as a Global Ambassador? With Cyprus being so far away from West Virginia, and so many Cypriot scouts not being able to participate, I really want to bridge the distance between the Jamboree and home. I want to give people back home a chance to “experience” the jamboree, and give people from other countries a glimpse into how much fun the Cyprus contingent has in West Virginia.
