Favorite scouting experience: My favourite event as a scout was the Canadian Jamboree, which I attended in 2017. It was a week long adventure, and during it I got to travel to somewhere I’ve never been, make new friends, try tons of new adventures, and get a lot closer with my scout troop. I also discovered my love for badge trading at that camp, and I designed a badge and traded with scouts from all over Canada, which was an amazing experience.
What are you most excited about for the 2019 World Scout Jamboree? I am looking forward to connecting with new people from all over the world, and making new friendships. I am also excited to explore all the different adventures that the summit offers, and I hope to experience them all with a camera in hand.
Why do you want to serve as a Global Ambassador? I love to capture moments with photography and writing, and I’m looking forward to sharing the adventures of the jamboree with the world, and showing people how beautiful scouting is. The scouting movement is a wonderful thing, and I can’t wait to show the world how incredible it is to be a part of it.
What countries would you like to meet scouts from? I would love to meet scouts from Holland, Iceland, Brazil, New Zealand, and Thailand.
