Agradecemos a todos los que participaron en o formaron parte del staff de la visita de estudio del 24^o Jamboree Scout Mundial, del 21 al 24 de julio de 2017.

Nos enorgullece haber servido a 70 participantes de casi 20 OSN; Tico Perez, anterior Comisionado de BSA, encabezó nuestro staff de 12.

Aun cuando nos hospedamos en Charleston, Virginia del Oeste, hicimos un recorrido de Summit Bechtel Reserve durante el Jamboree Scout Nacional 2017 de los BSA. Vimos el campamento en acción y tuvimos discusiones interactivas para responder a las preguntas e inquietudes de los asistentes.

Los recorridos incluyeron Summit Center y las áreas de exhibición, sitios de campamentos base, áreas de aventura, y la comida en la versión de los BSA de una casa de alimentos. Una  festiva merienda en Perry Park incluyó interacciones con miembros del consejo ejecutivo de los BSA y una extraordinaria vista de la sede del Jamboree.

La siguiente oportunidad para que los miembros de las OSN visiten Summit Bechtel Reserve será del 12 al 15 de abril de 2018, durante la primera Reunión oficial de los Jefes de Delegación. Planeamos hospedarnos en The Resort at Glade Springs, ubicado en Daniels, Virginia del Oeste. La Reunión de los Jefes de Delegación incluirá un recorrido de Summit Bechtel Reserve, la sede del 24^o Jamboree Scout Mundial, así como presentaciones informativas y oportunidades para hacer preguntas. Se darán más detalles en septiembre de 2017.

Thank you to everyone who participated in or staffed the 24^th World Scout Jamboree study visit, 21 -24 July 2017.

We are proud to have served 70 participants from almost 20 NSOs; Tico Perez, former National Commissioner of BSA, chaired our staff of 12.

Although we headquartered in Charleston, West Virginia, we toured Summit Bechtel Reserve during the BSA’s 2017 National Scout Jamboree.  We saw the camp in action and had interactive discussions to address questions and concerns from attendees.

The tours included Summit Center and the exhibit areas, base camp sites, adventure areas, and lunch at the BSA version of a food house. A celebratory supper at Perry Park included interactions with BSA executive board members and a beautiful view of the Jamboree site.

The next opportunity for NSO members to visit Summit Bechtel Reserve will be 12-15 April 2018, during the first official Head of Contingent Meeting.  We plan to headquarter at The Resort at Glade Springs, located in Daniels, WV.  The Head of Contingent Meeting will include a tour of the Summit Bechtel Reserve, the site of the 24^th World Scout Jamboree, as well as informational presentations and opportunities for questions.  Additional details will be available in September 2017.
