“Spirit of Jamborees” Museum in World Point

If you have not checked out the “Spirit of Jamborees” museum in World Point, you are missing out on something. To understand what the Jamboree actually means and what the origins are, is a big part of being at a World Scout Jamboree.

The museum has an aesthetic interior and by walking around you can either just have a look around at the beautiful pictures, big posters and old uniforms or if you have more time available you should definitely take your time and read all the descriptions and understand everything.

The museum explains how Baden-Powell has created the scouting movement in 1920 and how the “Spirit of Jamboree” keeps living on with every Jamboree. The museum takes you on a journey through all the 24 Jamborees and lets you understand how each one has kept the spirit burning. There are rare and interesting artifacts from different Jamborees on display and Every Jamboree was and is something special and is far more than just a gathering of scouts. We are creating history by being here and in a few years the 24th World Scout Jamboree will be a highlight in a museum too.
