Aquarius: January 20th – February 18th
Today is one of those days where the position of the moon tells me that you need to think about water. All the time. Drink a lot of water – of course not too much, because you do not want to drown yourself. But the moon tells me that around 3 litres today would be good for you!
Pisces: February 19th – March 20th
Fish like to swim around in groups (it is called schooling), and today this is also what you need to do. It will be very good for you to hang out with some of your co-scouts from home. Maybe play some card games, laugh and have fun. But if the opportunity presents itself – do not hesitate to find new friends from countries other than your own.
Aries: March 21st – April 19th
Today – or actually late tonight – your hair will turn green. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that is what the position of the planet Jupiter is telling me. Luckily, there is one thing you can do: share some lovely snacks with your leaders. Then – and only then – will your hair not turn green.
Taurus: April 20th – May 20th
You feel extra strong today – both physically and mentally. Maybe one of your friends needs a shoulder to cry on, or maybe just a friend to talk to. Sometimes it might not be easy to be away from home. This feeling is easier to handle, if you have friends to talk to about it.
Gemini: May 21st – June 20th
If you have time today, text a friend or a family member from back home. The position of Venus in the solar system tells me that it will specifically warm the heart of an older family member if you have the time to send them a picture of you in your new scout home.
Cancer: June 21st – July 22nd
Do you want to look like a lobster – do you? The position of the sun tells me that this will happen if you do not use sunscreen today. And remember: The sun can still burn you even if it is hiding behind the clouds. Trust me – I know! And remember that you probably need to put on sunscreen more than once a day.
Leo: July 23rd – August 22nd
Today you might find a real treasure if you just keep aware of your surroundings. Because of the color of the Milky Way, I know that you might find something beautiful you want to swap for. Just remember that grownups are only allowed to swap with grownups, and children are only allowed to swap with children.
Virgo: August 23rd – September 22nd
One way of feeling better when you feel blue (= sad) is to talk to a good friend. Another option is to talk to a Listening ear. They have stations in each basecamp and across the Jamboree, and they would love to listen to and hear what you have to say. You might feel blue today because the color of the small planet, Pluto, looks somewhat blue to me today.
Libra: September 23rd – October 22nd
Watch where you are walking today. It is very easy for you to fall, stumble and maybe even hit your toe. Specifically your little toe. And you know, just like me, that hitting your little toe hurts a lot! Well, it is definitely not fun. So just look out, please.
Scorpio: October 23rd – November 21st
They love tall grass. They are very small. They are very thirsty. And they are not at all fun. I am talking about ticks. A small black animal that sucks blood. A few days ago, the moon had a red light and tonight, the stars of your star sign are going to have the same color. So watch out for ticks, check yourself, and remove them!
Sagittarius: November 22nd – December 21st
The scouts from your country all have the same gear as you! Today is the day you need to put a name on all of the stuff you do not want to lose. You can also make a lock screen wallpaper for your phone so the finder knows who owns the phone. Because today you are going to be unlucky. You are going to lose something. This is shown in the stars because of the dark side of the Moon. But maybe you are lucky enough that somebody will find the thing you lost and return it to you. Or maybe you can find it in the main lost and found center. They are open from 9.00-18.00 (9 am – 6 pm).
Capricorn: December 22nd – January 19th
Wash your hands! I can see that you are not doing a good enough job. The position of the planet Uranus told me so. And dirty hands end with a stomach ache. And you do not want a stomach ache – it is so impractical when you have to sit next to a toilet all day long.
