IST arriving prior to 18 July 2019 must be deemed as essential to their job assignment area and have been invited by their team leads to arrive early.  Any IST that is arriving early will need to be preapproved by their team lead before being allowed to check in.  IST that arrive early without prior clearance from their team lead will be subject to an additional early per day charge of $40.  This will be due at the time of check-in.

An IST Experience Volunteer will greet all IST to assist them through the check-in process.

The registration greeter will check the IST registration record to see if all check-in criteria for the IST has been completed. The check-in process will vary per person depending on if all criteria are met in advance.

IST members must have completed the following prior to proceeding to registration HQ:

It is highly recommended that you complete the training before arriving at the jamboree.

It is strongly suggested that you complete Safe from Harm training prior to your arrival on site for the 24th World Scout Jamboree, as the training takes 2 or more hours to complete.  To complete your Safe from Harm training, go to:

https://www.2019wsj.org/attend/ist-volunteers/training/ [2]

If you have completed Safe from Harm, you will need to bring a copy of your certificate showing completion of the Safe from Harm course for the 24th World Scout Jamboree.

Any IST that have not completed the training will be required to complete it at the Ruby Welcome Center before being allowed to complete the check-in process.

Once all criteria are completed, IST will proceed to Registration HQ to pick up their WSJ credentials.

Once checked-in, IST members will collect their luggage and gear and board shuttle buses that will transport them to the Summit Bechtel Reserve site.
