CULTURAL DAY

My unit held some Japanese games including “Chopsticks game” at my site on the cultural day.  I’m not at speaking English, therefore it was difficult for me to explain the rule.  Some people from other countries were able to use chopsticks better than Japanese.  I was really amazed.

I gave girls from Denmark Japanese traditional clothes, called “kimono”.  They gave me some neckerchief and T-shirt as well.  Kimono were really good on them.

Then, I was invited to their site, and ate Danish traditional desserts for Christmas.  That was rice with milk and some cinnamon sugar on top.  In Japan, we also eat sweet rice, but the taste was completely different.  It was so nice.
